Nasr Hariri: Corona virus has doubled Syria’s need for humanitarian aid
The head of the National Coalition, Nasr Hariri, announced yesterday, Tuesday, that Syria’s need for humanitarian aid has doubled after the spread of the Corona pandemic in it.
Hariri confirmed The infrastructure of Syria has suffered tremendous damage since the beginning of the war launched by the Assad regime forces and their allies against the Syrian people, explaining the danger that ensued after the forced migration and demographic change, which was represented in pushing many health workers to leave the country.
Hariri participated yesterday. Tuesday, in a session entitled “War and Disease: Life with Corona in Yemen and Syria”, within the framework of the fourth “TRT World” Forum, organized by the Turkish official English-speaking channel, under the slogan “The International System and the Changing Dynamics in the Post-Corona Pandemic”
He mentioned during his speech at the session that the Syrian provisional Government is working intensively to prevent the spread of the epidemic, pointing to the great difficulties facing civilians in adhering to anti-Corona measures under harsh working conditions.
He stressed the need to establish more isolation centers in the camps to fight the epidemic, indicating their urgent need for tents, medical supplies and sterilizers, and the need to secure them immediately.
