European Union announces the date of the distribution of Corona vaccine on its territory
Yesterday, Wednesday, the European Union announced that the first vaccine against the pandemic (Covid-19) is expected to be published in the first semester of next 2021.
Andrea Amon, director of the European Agency for Epidemiology, said: “The epidemiological situation in Europe is very, very bad, and all our indicators go in the bad direction,” calling for adherence to the preventive restrictions imposed regardless of their difficulty.
The new Corona virus has killed 1,275,113 people in the world since the outbreak was reported in China at the end of December, according to a census conducted by Agence France-Presse, Wednesday.
More than 51,531,660 people around the world have been infected with the emerging coronavirus, of whom at least 33,300,900 have recovered to date.
