Turkish Relief sends humanitarian aid to northern Syria
Today, Wednesday, the Turkish Humanitarian Relief Foundation (IHH) launched a humanitarian aid campaign in all Turkish states, through which it distributed winter aid in the liberated north of Syria.
The Turkish Commission confirmed that it had distributed coats and shoes to four thousand children, residing in displacement camps, in the Idlib and Afrin regions in northern Syria.
“The Syrians are living in very difficult conditions with the onset of the winter season, especially those living in the camps,” said the media official for the activities of the Relief Commission in Syria, Salim Toson.
He added, “As part of the campaign, coats and shoes have been distributed to 4,000 children in the Syrian camps,” noting that “the relief activities of the organization will continue in Syria.”
Humanitarian organizations, institutions and volunteer teams working in the humanitarian field inside Syria are still seeking to form a nucleus that aims mainly to respond to humanitarian situations, as well as conveying the true picture of the suffering experienced by the Syrian people inside the liberated areas.
