Turkish Relief Foundation sends food aid to camps for displaced people inside Syria
The Turkish Humanitarian Relief Foundation sent two trucks of food aid to the Syrian families residing in the camps for the displaced in the countryside of the governorates of Aleppo and Idlib.
The head of the commission in the state of Qarshahir in central Turkey, Saifuddin Gret, said in a statement today, Monday, that they had launched a campaign to help needy families in the camps inside the Syrian territories.
He added that they sent two trucks loaded with potatoes, with the support of philanthropists, to the camps for the displaced in Syria, to support families in need with food.
He expressed his thanks to all those who contributed to the delivery of this humanitarian aid during the winter season, noting that a third truck is being prepared to distribute potatoes to needy families in the Turkish state of Qarshir.
The Turkish Relief Organization sent 750 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid to Syria during the first 6 months of this year.
