Joe Biden issues instructions to revive the US role in resolving the Syrian issue

Today, Wednesday, US President Joe Biden issued his instructions to form a team of experienced specialists, to revive the role of the United States to participate in resolving some issues, including the Syrian issue.

This came in an article published by the “Russia Today” website, which spoke about American instructions to revive its role in regional issues.

The article emphasized that “the features of the political approach that will be taken by the new US administration, in cooperation with the United Nations and other influential parties, have begun to emerge at all levels.”

He added that the US administration has begun to envision the role that the United States should play in the Syrian issue.

The article indicated that “the United States is participating in future meetings on the Syrian file, which is considered a positive sign.”

He explained, “The indicators paint a grim picture of what threatens Syria within two or three months of exacerbation and deterioration of the living conditions in the country.”

Regarding the difficult humanitarian conditions that the Syrian people are experiencing, the “Russia Today” article concluded that those concerned with the matter (the opposition and the Assad regime) must move towards the political process in Syria and implement Security Council Resolution 2254, under the supervision of the United Nations.
