Erdogan announces new decisions to combat Corona and sets a date for the availability of the vaccine in Turkey
Turkish President Rajab Tayyip Erdogan announced, yesterday evening, Monday, in a speech after the weekly meeting of the government on the decisions to combat Corona about New precautionary restrictions to combat the Corona virus.
During his speech, Erdogan said: “The increasing number of infected people and deaths is a worrying indicator, and we will take all measures and measures to limit the spread of the virus.”
Erdogan stressed that there is no other solution except measures aimed at limiting movement People to the lowest level to reduce the negative impact of the pandemic.
One of the new precautionary restrictions announced by the Turkish President is a complete curfew on the weekend (on Saturdays and Sundays), with movement restricted in the rest of the days from nine in the evening until five in the morning.
In the meeting, according to what Erdogan said, it was decided to suspend education activities in kindergartens and similar institutions within the framework of Corona prevention measures.
Regarding the issue of Corona vaccine, Erdogan said: “The vaccination will start from next month, starting from the health sector workers.” He continued, “We found out An agreement to obtain 50 million vaccines, and we will start distributing them to citizens for free from the coming months. It is worth noting that Turkey recorded, yesterday, Monday, 188 deaths from the Corona virus, bringing the total to 13,746.
