The twenty-third day of November 2020 marks the second anniversary of the assassination of the media activists Raed Al-Faris and Hammoud Junaid in the city of Kafr Nabl In the southern countryside of Idlib governorate, in a security operation targeting the most prominent symbols of the revolutionary movement in Kafr Nabl and Syria in general. Today, Monday, Urb Organization and Radio Fresh held a symposium under the title “And you have a memory in the heart,” to commemorate the martyrdom of Raed Al Faris and Hammoud Junaid, as it has passed since They were martyred for two years and are still alive in the hearts of the free Syrians. The two martyrs Raed Al Faris, son of Kafr Nabl, and his companion, the martyr Hammoud Junaid, received the Courage Award in Journalism from the Legatum Institute in the United Kingdom for the year 2019. The two martyrs Raed Al Faris and Hammoud Junaid are from The first journalists and media platforms that documented the Assad regime’s crimes against the Syrian people during the revolutionary uprising in 2011. The two martyrs Raed and Hammoud also documented many massacres committed by the Assad regime forces and Russia in most Syrian cities. The martyr accompanied Raed and his companion in life and death. Hamo Dr. Al-Junaid, the Free Army, in its battles against those forces that took the blood of the Syrian people and bombed them with all kinds of weapons. Within the martyr’s busy journey in Media and the Free Press, the martyr Raed Al-Faris founded Radio Fresh in the city of Kafr Nabl on the fifteenth of October 2013. “Raed al-Faris” participated in many international revolutionary forums that would show the world the strength and revolution of this people.
