Civilians were injured by Assad regime’s artillery shelling on Idleb western countryside
Civilians were injured Monday morning in Assad regime’s artillery shelling on “Ghanya” village in Jisr al-Shughur countryside, western Idleb.
Our correspondent said that Assad regime forces targeted with heavy artillery shelling the villages of “Sheikh Sindyan” and “Ghanya” in Jisr al-Shughur subdistricts in western Idlib.
The correspondent added that similar shelling targeted the vicinity of al-Sarmaniyah, al-Qarqur, and al-Ziyarah villages in Sahl al-Ghab, western Hama province.
He explained that the artillery shelling on the vicinity of the three villages in Sahl al-Ghab was limited to material, and no civilian casualties were reported .
Assad regime forces sporadically target separate areas in the fourth “de-escalation” zone in Idleb and the countryside of Hama, Aleppo and Latakia, which are included in the ceasefire agreement on March 5, 2020 signed by the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in the capital, Moscow.
