Turkey: We will fight all the terrorist organizations that threaten the security of our country
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu announced that Turkey targeted 17,000 terrorists during the operations it carried out in Syria over 6 years.
Cavusoglu made it clear that his country “will fight all terrorist organizations, including the Syrian Democratic Forces, Fethullah Terrorist Organization, and other organizations that threaten Turkey’s national security.”
Anadolu Agency quoted Cavusoglu as saying that Turkey targets “terrorist organizations” according to Article 51 of right of self-defense stipulated in the United Nations, explaining that Turkey has been carrying out its operations in Syria sincerely and continuously for years.
It is noteworthy that the latest Turkish operations in Syria targeted the leader of the Islamic State, Abu Hussein al-Qurashi, which lasted 4 hours.
