Human rights report documents no less than 73 attacks on vital centers in North-west Syria
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) documented Tuesday on November 14, no less than 73 attacks by Assad regime forces and Russia on civilian and vital centers in north-west Syria, since last October 5 until last Saturday.
The report made it clear that Assad regime forces were responsible for 69 of these attacks, and the Russian forces were responsible for 4, killing 68 civilians, including 24 children and 14 women.
The report stated that 24 attacks of the 37 targeted educational facilities and 11 on medical facilities, and 12 worship places.
The report pointed out that the attacks were concentrated on civilian areas including, Idleb city and its western, southern, eastern, and northern countryside. The attacks also included areas in western Idleb countryside and Sahl al-Ghab in Hama countryside.
The report considered that the military operations of the Assad regime forces and Russia are a violation of several rules of the international humanitarian law including, not to distinguish between civilians and fighters, and between the civilian targets and military ones, as they targeted hospitals, schools, and civilian neighborhoods and facilities.
The countryside of Idleb, Aleppo, and Hama provinces have been subjecting to artillery and missile shelling by Assad regime forces with the participation of Russian warplanes, which resulted in the killing and injuring dozens of civilians, and displacing thousands of families from their areas to the border areas with Turkey.
