Four civilians were killed and others injured in airstrikes by Assad regime on Idleb city
Four civilians were killed and others were injured due to airstrikes by Assad regime war planes that targeted the neighborhoods of Idleb city and a camp for displaced people there this morning, according to Syria Civil Defence.
Radio Fresh’s correspondent said: “The Assad regime and Russian war planes targeted by nine airstrikes the neighborhoods inside the city of Idleb, in addition to targeting the camp next to the Idleb Municipal Stadium in the city, killing four civilians, including a woman, and injuring others.”
The correspondent added: “Russian airstrike targeted last night, Saturday, the vicinity of Al-Basil Roundabout in the New Aleppo neighborhood in the city of Aleppo, causing civilian casualties.”
The heavy bombardment campaign by Assad regime and Russian aircraft comes after the fighters of the “Deterrence of Aggression” fighters were able to control large areas in Aleppo, Idleb, and some villages in Hama northern countryside.
On November 27, 2024, The Military Operations Department launched the “Deterrence of Aggression” operation against Assad regime forces in Idleb and Aleppo, in order to restore the areas occupied by the Assad regime, in which the Assad regime suffered significant losses in life and equipment.
