Al-Sharaa: Syria is moving towards development and reconstruction and stability

The general leader of the new Syrian administration, Ahmed al-Sharaa, confirmed that the foreign governorates should not worry about the situation in Syria, and matters are under control, and the concerned authorities are working to confront the challenges according to thoughtful plans aimed at achieving stability in the country.

Al-Sharaa said: “The people are exhausted from the war, and the country is not prepared to engage into another war. The fear was of Assad regime which has fallen, and Syria is moving towards development, reconstruction, and stability.”

Al-Sharaa: “The source of our concern was from the Iranian militias and Hezbollah as well as the Assad regime who committed massacres we see today.”

Al-Sharaa pointed out that “through the Aggression of deterrence operation, no country supported our battle and no one encouraged it, and we were confident of victory.”

Al-Sharaa continued: “I will work to dissolve the security services affiliated with the former regime and close the notorious prisons, and we will establish a government that accommodates the various competencies of the Syrian people.”

According to Al-Sharaa: “We are closely monitoring suspected chemical weapons sites and are working to secure them in cooperation with international organizations.”

Al-Sharaa said: “Our battle has succeeded in restoring the unity of the Syrians, and the displaced and the refugees must return so that we can build a new Syria. We must give the Levant its right and build it correctly, and the opportunities are available to us.”

Al-Sharaa previously affirmed the leadership’s commitment to hold accountable all those involved in torturing the Syrian people and committing crimes against civilians, saying: “We will not hesitate to hold accountable the criminals, murderers, and security and army officers involved in torturing the Syrian people.”
