The opening of a new department for the care of children and Corona patients in Darkoush
The Idlib Health Directorate, in cooperation with Al-Rahma Hospital, inaugurated a new intensive care unit for children, a CT scan, and a quarantine for those infected with the Coronavirus, in Darkoush city in Idlib countryside.
The opening of this section contributes to relieving the parents, and receiving children who need competitors or intensive care, especially in light of the increasing cases of bronchiolitis among children.
In addition, the axial class apparatus was activated in the hospital, after its maintenance, to return and provide free services to the people, and the importance of activating the caste device in Al-Rahma Hospital in Darkoush city comes as it came after the class apparatus in the National Hospital in Idlib city was disrupted, and thus only paid devices remained in service.
In an exclusive interview with Farsh Online, the director of Al-Rahma Hospital, Dr. Ahmed Ghandour, said: “As a result of winter, severe cold and the spread of chronic diseases (Corona-Bronchiolitis), there was an urgent need to provide special places for infants and others for Corona virus patients.”
Ghandour added: “The pediatric care department consists of four beds, two incubators, and a phototherapy unit. As for the care, it is equipped with central oxygen, in addition to three ventilators for newborns, three ventilators, and other devices in the Intensive Care Department.” .
As for the isolation section for Corona patients, the director of Al-Rahma Hospital confirmed that it consists of 18 beds, a section for men and another for women, and is equipped with oxygen cylinders, monitoring devices, ECG devices, and an electric shock.
It will also help the community treatment center attached to the hospital, and will contribute to support the medical care efforts provided by community treatment centers and other Coronavirus (Covid 19) hospitals in the region.
