Israeli raids target sites of the Assad regime forces and Iranian militias in Damascus countryside
Israeli warplanes launched raids, at midnight on Wednesday, on several sites of the Assad regime forces and Iranian militias, in the vicinity of Damascus and its southern countryside.
According to the pro-SANA agency, the air defenses of the Assad regime responded to the Israeli raids that attempted to target several Iranian militia sites.
The same sources added, “The raids were concentrated in the vicinity of Damascus International Airport, the city of Al-Kiswa, and sites of the” Hezbollah “militia in the Quneitra governorate.
While several media outlets said that the Israeli raids targeted points where Iranian spy forces are stationed in the First Division near the city of Al-Kiswa in the western countryside of Damascus, which were targeted by two additional airstrikes.
The Israeli army has recently intensified its raids on Syria, targeting the sites of the Assad regime forces and Iranian militias, resulting in human and material losses among the latter’s ranks.
