The Syrian pound is achieving a new improvement against the dollar and a drop in gold prices
Today, Tuesday, the Syrian pound witnessed a new improvement in its value and exchange rate against the US dollar, in all the Syrian governorates.
The Syrian pound recorded today against the dollar in the capital Damascus, the price of 2890 purchases, and 2960 sales, and against the euro, the price of 3471 purchases and 3560 sales.
In the city of Aleppo, the exchange rate of the Syrian pound against the US dollar was recorded at 2890 buying and 2,955 sales, and 3466 buying and 3554 sales against the euro.
While the Syrian pound recorded against the US dollar in Idlib governorate, the price of 2880 purchases and 2930 sales, and against the euro, it recorded 3465 purchases and 3535 sales.
Today, Tuesday morning, gold prices witnessed a new decline, as the selling price of one gram in the Syrian market recorded a decrease of 2,500 Syrian pounds.
The decline in gold prices was affected by the decline in gold prices in the global markets during the past few hours.
A gram of 24 karat gold recorded the price of 167,960 Syrian pounds, while a gram of 21 karat gold recorded a price of 147,000 Syrian pounds, while a gram of 18 karat gold recorded the price of 126,030 Syrian pounds.
The price of an ounce of gold on the global market decreased this morning by about 20 dollars per ounce, as the price of an ounce of gold recorded 1765.80 dollars per ounce.
