Including London and Paris.. world cities demonstrate in support of the Palestinians and condemning the Israeli aggression on Gaza
European capitals and cities in Australia and Arab countries witnessed demonstrations in support of the Palestinians and condemning the recent Israeli military escalation in the Gaza Strip, which lasted 11 days.
Thousands demonstrated in the center of the British capital, London, in solidarity with the Palestinian people, and condemning what they consider the collusion of the British government with Israel in its crimes against civilians.
A spokeswoman for the groups organizing the demonstration said that despite the ceasefire in Gaza, the Palestinians are still subject to a blockade in which Israel violates their human rights.
The demonstrators affirmed that their movement will continue until the Palestinians obtain their rights to freedom, justice and equality.
Activists also gathered in Republic Square in the French capital, Paris, to support the Palestinian people in their struggle against the Israeli occupation, and to celebrate the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
The Australian cities of Sydney and Melbourne witnessed massive demonstrations in which the demonstrators raised Palestinian flags and banners describing what happened in Gaza as a crime of genocide.
The demonstrators also denounced the policy of racial discrimination practiced by Israel, and chanted slogans in support of the Palestinians and the Palestinian cause.
And at dawn on Friday, a cease-fire took effect between the Palestinian factions and Israel, after 11 days of aggression.
The Israeli aggression on the territories of the Palestinian Authority and Arab towns in Israel resulted in 279 martyrs, including 69 children, 40 women and 17 elderly people, and resulted in more than 8,900 injuries, 90 of which were classified as extremely dangerous.
