Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory: About 24 thousand people have been vaccinated against Corona in northwest Syria
The Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory of the Epidemiological Support and Response Coordination Unit confirmed that the Free Health Directorates and the Syria Vaccine Team are continuing to give doses of the coronavirus vaccine, in conjunction with the registration of a new death toll from the virus in northwestern Syria.
The laboratory announced that the number of people vaccinated against the Corona virus, until Thursday, reached 23,726 people.
The laboratory indicated that the number of vaccinated people was distributed among 10,967 health workers and 8,536 humanitarian workers, in addition to vaccinating 4,223 people with one or more chronic diseases.
The vaccination campaign continues until all doses are used up and the largest possible number of people are vaccinated in northwestern Syria.
Seven deaths and 98 new infections with the Corona virus were recorded yesterday, Thursday, in the regions of northwestern Syria and “Spring of Peace,” bringing the total to 26,864 infections, of whom 720 died.
