The “Turkish Crescent” distributes Eid clothes to more than 80,000 Syrian children
The Turkish Red Crescent Society reported that its charitable activities are continuing in northern Syria, noting that it aims to provide Eid clothes for 100,000 Syrians.
Fatih Kokjan, the coordinator of the Red Crescent in Syria, said on Sunday, to Anadolu Agency, that the association continues to help the needy in Ras al-Ain, Tal Abyad, al-Bab, Azaz, Afrin and Idlib in northern Syria, by distributing Eid clothes.
He added that to date, the number of people who received clothes has reached 82,635 people, most of whom are orphans, noting that the goal is to reach 100,000.
Kokjan stated that the distribution work will continue throughout the days of Eid al-Adha through the charity “shops of love”, expressing his thanks to all the donors and volunteers who participated in the relief activities.
It is noteworthy that the Turkish Red Crescent has continued to support the needy Syrians in the areas of food, health, education and shelter since 2011.
