24 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in northern Syria
The Early Warning and Epidemic Response Network of the Support Coordination Unit confirmed 24 new cases of coronavirus in the northern Syrian regions.
Thus, the death toll from Corona in northern Syria reached 26,801 cases, with no new deaths recorded, and thus its number stopped at 727 cases.
5 new cases of recovery were recorded, bringing the number of people recovering from the virus to 23,283 people, and the number of new analyzes reached 250, which raises the total number to 170,126 tests.
Concerning the distribution of infections, the network indicated that most of them were recorded in the city of Idlib, and Afrin in the countryside of Aleppo, according to the classification of the health information system.
It is noteworthy that warnings about the repercussions of the outbreak of the pandemic are rising in the regions of northern Syria due to the overcrowding of the region, especially in the displacement camps.
