305 new infections and 3 deaths from the Corona virus were recorded throughout the Syrian regions
Various Syrian regions recorded 305 infections and three new deaths from the Corona virus, distributed as 200 cases in the north of Syria, and 34 in the areas of the Assad regime, in addition to 71 cases of infection in the areas of the Syrian Democratic Forces in northeastern Syria.
In details, the Early Warning and Epidemic Response Network announced that 115 new infections were recorded in Idlib Governorate.
Thus, the total number of infections in northern Syria reached 27,337, and the number of recovery cases reached 23,379, after 12 cases of recovery were recorded.
And the Spring of Peace region, north and east of Syria, recorded 85 new infections, bringing the total number to 2,655, and the death toll to 28, without recording any new deaths.
The death toll in northern Syria also stopped at 727, while the number of tests tested yesterday increased to 833, which brings the number of tests to 173,788 tests in northern Syria.
Meanwhile, the Assad regime’s Ministry of Health announced the registration of 34 new infections, bringing the total number to 26,247.
3 deaths were recorded, bringing the total number to 1,933, in addition to 16 cases of recovery, and thus the number of recovery cases reached 22,116, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Health of the Assad regime.
On the other hand, the Health Authority of the Syrian Democratic Forces announced 71 infections, with two new deaths from the Corona virus recorded in its areas of control.
Thus, the total number of infections in the areas of the Syrian Democratic Forces reached 18,939 cases, including 768 deaths and 1,909 cases of recovery.
It is noteworthy that the death toll from Corona is rising on a daily basis in Syria, and this comes at a time when the Assad regime is known to exploit the spread of the epidemic in its areas of control and continues to ignore health measures, as is the case in areas controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces, while warnings about the repercussions of the outbreak of the pandemic are mounting in the areas of northern Syria due to the overcrowding of the region Especially in displacement camps.
