10 deaths and 835 new infections with Coronavirus were registered in northwest Syria
The Early Warning Network recorded 10 deaths and 835 new infections with Corona virus in northwestern Syria, yesterday, Sunday, bringing the number of recorded deaths to 746 and the number of infections to 30,604.
The network stated that 245 new cases were recorded in Aleppo countryside (152 in Afrin, 19 in al-Bab, 31 in Jarablus, 17 in Jabal Samaan, 26 in Azaz), and Idlib governorate recorded 590 infections (65 in Ariha, 329 in Harem, 143 in Idlib, 53 in Jisr al-Shughur).
The network recorded 49 cases of recovery, 14 of which were recorded in Aleppo countryside (3 in Afrin, 3 in Jarablus, 8 in Al-Bab), and 35 were recorded in Idlib Governorate (1 in Ariha 31 in Harem, 3 in Idlib), bringing the total number of recovery cases to 23,768 cases.
The Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory of the Early Warning Network Program indicated that it conducted 1,818 analyzes of the Corona virus, bringing the number of analyzes it conducted to 184,636 in northern Syria.
Imad Zahran, director of the media office of the Idlib Health Directorate, explained, in a previous exclusive statement to Fresh, “The danger of the new wave of corona infections lies in the emergence of new mutations of the virus, such as delta and alpha, and the danger of these mutations comes due to their rapid spread and severe symptoms, as all groups must The target of the Corona vaccine program is to take the vaccine and complete the two doses.”
