1,804 infections and 6 deaths from the Corona virus were recorded in various regions of Syria
The various regions of Syria recorded today, Thursday, 1,804 new infections and 6 deaths from the Corona virus, distributed by 1,514 infections in the regions of northern Syria, 130 in the areas controlled by the Assad regime and 160 in the areas of the Syrian Democratic Forces in the northeast of the country.
The Early Warning and Epidemic Response Network announced the registration of 1,401 new cases of corona, as the number of infections reached 39,271 cases, in the liberated areas in northwestern Syria.
And 200 new cases of recovery were recorded, bringing the number of cases to 24,750, while the death toll reached 760, and a new case was added to the deaths in the Idlib and Aleppo countryside.
The network added, that it recorded 113 new infections in the liberated areas of “Spring of Peace” in the northeast of the country, and the infections reached 4,329 cases and 1,249 cases of recovery after 16,994 analyzes and 37 deaths.
On the other hand, the areas affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces recorded 160 new cases of corona, bringing the number of infections announced in their areas of control to 20,649 cases.
The Assad regime’s Ministry of Health recorded 130 new infections with the Corona virus, which raises the number of announced infections in its areas of control to 28,45 cases, while 5 deaths were recorded.
Thus, the ministry raised the deaths recorded in Corona to 2018, according to official data, while it revealed the recovery of 20 people from the infected, bringing the number of people recovered to 22,491 cases.
It should be noted that the outcome of the Corona epidemic has remarkably increased in Syria during the current period, while the total toll across the country reached 92,294 infections and 3,593 deaths, and the jumps in the liberated areas constitute fear of a large outbreak of the pandemic and its repercussions on the population.
And the health authorities in northern Syria had warned of an accelerating spread of the “Corona” virus in the region, stressing the need to strictly follow the necessary preventive measures to limit the spread of the pandemic.
