The United States condemns the continued bombing of the Assad regime and Russia on northwestern Syria

The United States of America condemned the Assad regime and Russia’s continued bombing of northwestern Syria, calling for an immediate ceasefire and the implementation of Resolution 2254.

And the Washington embassy in Syria confirmed in a tweet via its Twitter account, that “the United States is deeply concerned about the escalation of air strikes and bombing in northern Syria in recent months, which led to dozens of casualties and the displacement of thousands of civilians.”

The embassy called for respecting the ceasefire, protecting the civilian population, and working for a political solution to the conflict as stipulated under UN Resolution 2254.

It is noteworthy that the forces of the Assad regime and Russia continue their raids on the cities of northern Syria, with brutality, committing the most heinous crimes against defenseless civilians, indifferent to international laws
