The Assad regime threatens the people of Tafas with military operation after entering it
The Assad regime forces threatened the people of Tafas, west of Daraa, with military action, claiming the failure to deliver a sufficient number of individual weapons, during the settlement operations that began yesterday in the city.
According to “Ahrar Houran Gathering,” the Assad regime’s security committee informed the dignitaries of Tafas city in the western countryside of Daraa that it was not satisfied with the number of weapons it received.
The assembly confirmed that the number of weapons received by the committee amounted to 51, distributed between machine guns and RPG launchers, some of which were collected by the city’s clans, and others belong to the Assad regime elements who were captured on July 29 last in solidarity with Daraa al-Balad.
The Assad regime had given the dignitaries of Tafas a period to hand over another number of machine guns until Sunday afternoon, threatening the military option in the case of non-implementation.
It is noteworthy that the Russian military police and the Assad regime forces entered the city of Tafas yesterday morning, to implement the agreement reached by the negotiating parties last Thursday, which is the fourth of its kind in Daraa, similar to the previous agreements implemented this month in Daraa al-Balad and the towns of al-Yadudah and al-Muzayrib.
