7 Deaths and 280 cases of COVID-19 were recorded in northwest Syria
The Early Warning Network recorded, in its latest statistics, on October 29, 2021, 280 new infections of Coronavirus in northwestern Syria, bringing the number of infections to 87,964.
According to the report issued by the Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory of the Early Warning Network, 280 cases of coronavirus were recorded, after 714 new analyses were conducted, while the recovery cases increased to 50,687 cases after 269 cases of recovery were recorded.
According to the observatory, the number of deaths related to the virus has raised to 1,817, after 7 new deaths were recorded.
While the “Spring of Peace” regions recorded 66 infections, bringing the total number to 10,150 cases, after conducting 157 analyses.
It is noteworthy that the escalation of the infection rate in northern Syria leads to an increase in the occupancy rate in hospitals, especially in the intensive care departments, and the vaccination coverage rate in northwestern Syria is still low, and work must be done to increase the demand for vaccination and to raise the percentage of vaccinated people.
