9 Deaths and 30 COVID-19 cases were recorded in northwest Syria

Yesterday, northwestern Syria recorded 30 Covid-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections to 91,991 since the virus began spreading.

According to the report issued by the Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory of the Early Warning Network, 30 coronavirus cases were recorded, after 171 new analyzes were conducted, while the number of people recovered reached 605, bringing the number to 61,554 cases of recovery.

According to the epidemiological surveillance laboratory, the death toll reached 2,204, after 9 deaths were recorded, and the total number of cases tested reached 315,975 tests in northern Syria.

The observatory stated that the rate of positive cases amounted to 17% of the total 30 infections.

Warnings about the repercussions of the pandemic outbreak are mounting due to the overcrowding in the region, especially in displacement camps.
