123 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in northern Syria
Northwestern Syria regions recorded yesterday 106 new Covid-19 cases, which increased the total infections to102029, according to the Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory.
The infections distributed in Idlib governorate and the towns of north and east Aleppo. Idlib recorded 47 cases while north and east Aleppo recorded 59 cases, after conducting 423 new tests, according to the Laboratory.
The recovery cases have risen to 95934 in the region, after recording 139 new cases, 32 in Idlib governorate and 107 in the towns of north and east Aleppo.
The Laboratory has recorded no deaths related to the virus. The deaths toll remained at 2420.
The number of cases in the ”Peace Spring” have raised to 13195 after recording 17 new cases yesterday. The recoveries have raised to 11365 after recording 48 new cases, while the previous hours haven’t recorded any new deaths, according to the Epidemiological Surveillance Laboratory.
The medical authorities have warned of a new wave after the arrival of ”Omicron” which exceeded their capacity due to the depletion of the health sector in the previous wave, while the percentage of vaccinated people hasn’t exceeded 8% in the liberated areas.
