Aleppo International Airport resumes its flights after Israeli strikes
The Assad regime announced on Friday the resumption of flights through Aleppo International Airport after they were suspended for several days as a result of the Israeli strikes targeting sites of the Iranian-backed militias inside the airport.
Media sources loyal to the Assad regime said the Transport Ministry in the government of the Assad regime resumed the air traffic through Aleppo International Airport from Friday.
The same sources added that after finishing to repair the damage caused by the Israeli airstrikes that targeted the runway in the airport, the flights were resumed from the airport.
Aleppo International Airport was subjected to Israeli strikes, putting it out of service amid silence from the Assad regime and Iran, after announcing that the strikes were targeting sites of the Iranian-backed militias.
