The death toll from cholera disease has increased to 81 until Monday 31 October 2022, across Syria.
The Early Warning Alert and Response Network (EWARN) said that the number of cholera cases has reached about 25,000, in all Syrian governorates, after two months of cholera outbreak in the country.
The number of cholera cases in northeastern Syria increased to 18,396, 29 of them died, according to the (EWARN).
The (EWARN) added that the number of cholera cases in northwestern Syria increased to 4,970, four of them died.
The World Health Organization warned at the end of last September of the risk of the health situation in Syria after “cholera” outbreak in ten Syrian governorates, and its spreading across the country.
