Israel confirms that its military operation in Syria succeeded in disrupting Iranian plans
The Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, Aviv Kochavi, said that the Israeli military operations in Syria succeeded in disrupting the Iranian plans, stressing their continuation through communication with Russia.
This came according to what was reported by the Israeli Army Radio about Kochavi during his speech to the intelligence “Gazit Institute”, where he explained that the vision of Qassem Soleimani, the former commander of the Iranian Quds Force, was greatly distorted, but not completely, pointing out that they have more work in Syria.
Kochavi stated that 80 percent of land, air and sea smuggling routes from Iran to Syria are tightly closed due to the Israeli military operations.
Yesterday, Russia asked Israel not to obstruct the transfer of Russian defense systems from Syria to Ukraine, especially missile interception systems.
A number of members of the Assad regime forces were killed and injured on November 19, due to the Israeli bombardment that targeted military sites of the Assad regime, between Masyaf and Homs – which are crowded with Iranian formations.
