International Coalition Forces target sites of Iranian militias in eastern Syria

A number of people were killed in the strikes by the international coalition warplanes, on the night of Wednesday-Thursday, targetting Iranian militia sites in eastern Syria.

Three members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps were killed and others wounded as the international coalition warplanes targeted several positions for them in al-Mayadin in the eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside.

The coalition forces thwarted an attempt by the militias to respond through river crossings supervised by the “Abu al-Fadl al-Abbas” brigade.

The al-Omar oil field, located east of Deir ez-Zor, which is controlled by the international coalition forces, was subjected to an unidentified missile strike in mid-October.
