The National Coalition demands a meeting with the Turkish Government about the rapprochement with The Assad regime
The Syrian National Coalition demanded to hold an instant meeting with the Turkish officials to clarify the recent developments about the political rapprochement between the Turkish government and The Assad regime.
According to the coalition resources, the meeting between The Coalition and The Turkish officials will held next week, they mentioned that the stance of the coalition is stable towards the Syrian revolution and it can’t be waived.
The member of the(SOC)political committee “Hadi AlBahra” said: any unsustainable solution which doesn’t serve the Syrian people can’t be achieved.
Peace and stability can be achieved when the rule of law, human rights, justice and holding war criminals accountable are guaranteed through the implementation of the security council’s resolution Nu 2254 and Geneva statement for 2012.
It’s worth mentioning that a three-way meeting was held in the Russian capital among The Assad regime’s defense minister Ali Abass, the Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar and his counterpart Sergi Shoigu for the first time since 2011.
According to the Turkish Ministery Of Defence, the meeting discussed the Syrian situation, refugees and terrorist organizations in Syria.
