The “Russian Reconciliation Center” claims that US fighter jets continue the violations in Syria
The deputy head of the Russian Reconciliation Center, affiliated to the Russian Defence Ministry, Vadim Kulit, said that the US-led coalition’s aircrafts continue their violations in the Syrian airspace, according to “Tass” agency.
The US-led coalition’s aircrafts and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) violated the Syrian airspace 14 times on August 5, according to the Russian Reconciliation Center.
The Center added that the violations were in al-Tanf area, which is considered as a route for international airlines. It also pointed out that three pairs of F-16 fighter jets, four pairs of F-35s, and a pair of “Rafale” fighter aircraft, in addition to a pair of “Typhoon” fighters and multi-role unmanned aerial vehicles violated the Syrian airspace.
The Center claimed that the US-led coalition’s aircrafts are creating dangerous conditions in Syria’s airspace, through sorties violating deconfliction protocols and are not coordinated with the Russian side.
In terms of developments between Russia and America, US officials have warned of increasing the signs of military confrontation between the US and Russian forces deployed in Syria.
The “Russian Reconciliation Center” documented previously violations by the US-led international coalition of the flights in Syria 340 times during July 2023.
