Russian Foreign Ministry: Moscow no longer receives any warnings before Israeli attacks on Syria
The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that it had not received Israeli warnings before any attack on Syrian territories, according to the Russian news agency “TASS”.
Deputy Russian Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said that Israel no longer warns Moscow before its attacks on Syria.
Bogdanov added that Israel does not always warn Russia before its strikes on Syria, pointing out that “his country does not know about the strikes until they happen.”
Bogdanov made it clear in his statements that the recent Israeli strikes on Aleppo and Damascus airports “were a complete surprise to us.”
According to the US Bloomberg Agency, Israel no longer always warns Russia before its attacks on Syrian territories.
The agency also confirmed that these increasing attacks, with the absence of any warnings, may exacerbate the already troubled relations between Israel and Russia.
Alexander Ben Zvi, Israel’s ambassador to Russia, said earlier that the deconfliction mechanism between Russia and Israel in Syria is still working, according to the Russian agency “Sputnik”.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli army has recently intensified its strikes targeting areas of the Assad regime, especially the Damascus and Aleppo airports, putting them out of service more than once.
