Syria Civil Defence: Guided missile attacks against civilians are a systematic policy of murder
Syria Civil Defence (The White Helmets) said in a statement that “Assad regime’s guided missile attacks against civilians are a systematic policy of murder and aim to increase the precision of attacks and causing as many casualties as possible, focusing on areas close to the contact lines and open areas.”
The statement said: “Assad regime continues its high-precision-guided missile attacks targeting civilians in north-west Syria, it also targeted on Sunday, 28 April 2024, after midnight a civilian car on Barjaka village road close to Daret Ezza city, western Aleppo, killing a young man and injuring his father.”
The statement added: “Seven civilians were injured, including a child and a woman, most of them from the same family, after Assad regime targeted with guided missile a civilian car in Kafr Nteen village near Darat Ezza, western Aleppo, on Friday, 12 April 2024, setting fire to the car and damaging the tents near the place of the targeted car.
Assad regime forces also targeted a civilian car on the roadway in the northern neighborhood of Darat Ezza city, setting fire to the car and damaging two cars that were close to the burning car, in addition to minor damage to a civilian’s house near the place, on Friday, April 5, 2024.
Last March witnessed 3 guided missile attacks by Assad regime forces and its loyal militias, killing a child and injuring 4 civilians, including two children.
It is noteworthy that since the beginning of the current year 2024, Syria Civil Defense teams have responded to 10 guided missile attacks from the Assad regime forces, Russia, and their loyal militias, killing a child and a man and injuring14 civilians, including 2 children and 2 women.
