Civilians were injured due to Assad regime’s suicide drone attacks on the villages and towns in northern Syria
Radio Fresh’s correspondent reported that a number of civilians were injured today, August 15, as Assad regime forces targeted by suicide drone several regions in northern Syria.
Our correspondent said: “A suicide drone targeted the outskirts of Maaret al-Nasan village in eastern Idleb, causing civilian casualties.”
He added: ” A suicide drone targeted the outskirts of Kafr Nouran in Aleppo western countryside, and the people of the village were able to shoot down two suicide drones.”
He explained that the towns of al-Atareb and Kafr Nouran in western Aleppo also subjected to a similar targeting, injuring many civilians, including a child, and causing material damage to one of the houses.
It is noteworthy that the Syria Civil Defence documented, during the first six months of 2024, the killing of 3 civilians and the injury of 18 civilians, including two children, as a result of about 120 attacks by the Assad regime and Russia with suicide drones on several villages and towns in the countryside of Idleb and Aleppo.
