Russian airstrikes target Idleb countryside
Russian warplanes launched on Monday, October 14, about 22 airstrikes targeting Idleb city and Al-Kabinah hills in northern Latakia countryside, however no civilian casualties were recorded.
Radio Fresh’s correspondent reported that the Russian warplanes launched vacuum missiles on the countryside of Idleb and Latakia.
The correspondent made it clear that the airstrikes distributed as the following: 5 airstrikes on western Idleb, 3 airstrikes on Al-Kabinah hills, 5 airstrikes on the surrounding Bsankol village in southern Idleb, 4 airstrikes on the surrounding Batenta village, and 4 airstrikes on western Maarat Misrin-Al-Sheikh Bahr in northern Idleb.
The Russian airstrikes coincided with the presence of a UN delegation in the region, where 3 Russian warplanes bombed the above-mentioned areas, in addition to intense flights of reconnaissance aircraft over the airspace of liberated northern Syria.
It is noteworthy that the “Al-Fateh AL-Mobin” operations room announced in a statement its readiness for any escalation or military development in the northwestern region of Syria.
