A civilian was killed and others were injured in Assad regime and Russia’s shelling on north-west Syria
A civilian was killed and others were injured today, on October 16, due to artillery and missile shelling by Assad regime forces on different areas in north-west Syria.
Radio Fresh’s correspondent reported that Assad regime forces shelled the village of Maarbalit in southern Idleb countryside, killed a young girl and injuring others.
The correspondent added that the village of Benin and Al-Rwiyha in southern Idleb, the villages of Majdalia and Nayrib in southeastern Idleb, and Sarmin city in eastern Idleb were subjected to artillery shells by Assad regime forces.
Assad regime forces early on Wednesday also targeted by suicide drone the village of Deir Sunbol, however no casualties were reported.
The correspondent pointed out that the Russian warplanes launched airstrikes on many areas as five airstrikes targeted Al-Kabinah in Latakia countryside, and several airstrikes targeted the villages of Bsankol, Jusef, and al-Barah, causing several injuries.
According to the correspondent, several villages in Latakia countryside were subjected to heavy artillery shelling by Assad regime forces, including the villages of Al-Tuffahiyah and Al-Kinda.
In response to the targeting of liberated areas, the revolutionary factions targeted with 122 mm artillery shells the Russian operations room on the front of the “Nabi Yunus” summit, north of Latakia.
A civilian was killed and 8 others were injured on Tuesday, October 15, as a result of artillery shelling by Assad regime forces, targeting the city of Al-Atareb in Aleppo western countryside.
The cities and villages of the countryside of Idleb, Aleppo, and Latakia are subjected to artillery and missile bombardment by Assad regime forces and Russia, which most often results in civilian casualties, in addition to massive destruction of infrastructure and public property.
