Israeli airstrikes target the southern and central areas in Syria
Several Israeli airstrikes targeted military sites of the Assad regime and Iran in Damascus, Suwayda, and Homs.
A military source said that at around 2 a.m. the Israeli aggression carried out waves of missiles from the occupied Jolan Heights on several military sites in the southern and central region.
The source added that “Assad regime’s air defence forces intercepted the Israeli missiles and shot down some of them, and the work is still underway to verify the aggression’s results”, according to “SANA” news agency.
“Suwayda 24” Network pointed out that the Israeli airstrikes targeted the Assad regime’s Tal al-Qalib radar point, southeast of Suwayda city.
While the local “Voice of the Capital” network said that Israeli airstrikes targeted the 19th Air Defense Regiment of the Assad regime in Homs.
This targeting coincides with the Israeli army announcing the start of targeting sites inside Iran, with the sound of explosions being heard in various parts of the capital, Tehran.
It is noteworthy that Israel has recently escalated its attacks on various areas in Syria amid complete absence of any response from the Assad regime.
