The coalition: The Syrian people are looking forward to activate the Arab attitude towards the Syrian issue after the restoration of Gulf relations
The National Opposition Coalition welcomed the positive steps towards the return of Gulf relations between the Arab Gulf states, after the announcement of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The coalition welcomed the efforts made by the State of Kuwait, and praised the Kuwaiti role in restoring Gulf relations, which the Gulf peoples had aspired to.
The National Coalition of Revolution and Opposition Forces said: “The challenges facing us today need to create blocs that cooperate with each other and make use of their capabilities in order to serve the peoples,” adding that at this critical stage, Gulf and Arab cooperation is an irreplaceable necessity.
The coalition stressed that it is absolutely necessary to activate the Arab attitude and support the rights of the Syrian people, indicating that the Syrian people are looking forward to imposing the necessary pressures to push the path of a political solution in Syria.
It is noteworthy that the State of Kuwait announced the end of the blockade imposed on the State of Qatar, the resumption of relations between it and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the opening of the airspace and the land and sea borders between them.
Qatar announced today, Monday, that the Emir of the country, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, will participate in the Gulf summit, which will be held today, Tuesday, in Al-Ula, Saudi Arabia, in the presence of Jared Kushner, the advisor to the US President, Donald Trump, which will witness the signing of the Al-Ula agreement to end the Gulf crisis.
Meanwhile, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said in a statement carried by the official news agency this evening that the summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council will be “a summit that unifies the word for the class and strengthens the path of good and prosperity,” adding that the summit will translate the aspirations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his brothers, the leaders of the GCC countries In “reunification and solidarity in the face of the challenges in our region.”
