Iran: We will respond to any Israeli move against us
Reuters reported, on Tuesday, that Iran would respond “decisively” to any Israeli move against it.
This came after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that his country would not allow Iran to develop its nuclear weapons.
Netanyahu said that the aim of this step is to develop nuclear weapons and that Israel will never allow Tehran to do so, coinciding with Iran’s denial of having nuclear weapons.
According to Reuters, an unnamed Iranian official said: “This regime (Israel) must know that any aggression against Iran’s interests and security from any party and in any form, whether (Israel) claims responsibility for it or denies it, will face a decisive response from Iran against This system”.
Iran provided more details about its decision on enrichment, saying it has the capacity to produce up to nine kilograms of uranium enriched to 20 percent purity per month.
Iran previously resumed enriching uranium to 20 percent purity at a nuclear facility, a move that coincides with escalating tensions between it and the United States in the final days of President Donald Trump’s term.
