The New York Times: Four congressional intruders admitted they were encouraged by Trump
The American New York Times announced that four of the congressmen admitted that outgoing President Donald Trump had encouraged them to do so.
The newspaper pointed out that the four defendants, during their testimony to the investigators, made it clear that the reason for joining the rally that stormed Congress is the president’s encouraging speech to that.
The newspaper quoted a retired firefighter as saying that he participated in the storming of Congress on the instructions of President Trump.
While a realtor in Texas said that his joining the intruders came “in response to the president’s call.”
US President Donald Trump had toned down his rhetoric hours before he stepped down and inaugurated Biden, calling on citizens to pray for the success of the Joe Biden administration in the next four years.
He also talked about his achievements by saying that the most prominent of them is that he is the first American president in decades who did not fight wars.
