The Turkish Red Crescent begins distributing 784 brick houses to the displaced in Idlib
Yesterday, Saturday, the Turkish Red Crescent Society began distributing 784 brick houses to displaced families in Idlib Governorate, northwestern Syria.
Anadolu Agency said that the Red Crescent has completed the first phase of a project to build five thousand brick houses in the Sarmada area of Idlib governorate.
The first phase of the project includes building 1290 houses, with an area of 38 square meters each. Association officials have begun handing over 748 houses, while the deficiencies in the rest of the houses are being completed.
The project includes a small children’s garden, a health center, and a school.
In January 2019, the Turkish Ministry of Interior launched a relief campaign for the displaced in Idlib, called the “We are Together standing with Idlib” project, which aims to meet the needs of Syrians.
