The Assad regime raised the price of 100 dollars imposed on Syrian citizens before they entered their country, with a value of 1244 Syrian pounds.

Loyal media sources said that the exchange rate of 100 US dollars before entering Syria was set at 2,500 Syrian pounds instead of 1256, indicating its connection with the decision to raise the price of foreign remittances to increase the quantities of foreign exchange.

Two days ago, the system of the US dollar exchange rate for foreign remittances was raised to 3175 without an official decision from the Central Bank, while an official with the system praised the measure targeting expatriate funds.
