34 new cases of Coronavirus in northern Syria

The Early Warning and Epidemic Response Network of the Support Coordination Unit announced that 34 cases of Coronavirus were recorded in the liberated areas in northern Syria and ‘peace spring’ regions in the northeast of the country.

27 new casese were distributed in northern Syria, bringing the number of infections to 21,765 cases, 19,809 cases of recovery, and 641 deaths.

The network confirmed that the number of cases that were tested yesterday was 461, bringing the total number of cases tested until yesterday to 119,420 tests in northern Syria.

The network had indicated that it had confirmed new deaths from positive cases of the Coronavirus in the regions of Aleppo and Idlib, which is likely to increase the announced outcome during the daily disclosure of the outcome of the epidemic in the liberated north of Syria.

While the Syrian Civil Defense teams had previously transferred the bodies of people from centers and hospitals for the Coronavirus in northern Syria and buried them according to strict preventive measures, and also indicated that suspected cases of infection with the virus were transferred to quarantine centers.

The network recorded 7 new cases in the “Peace Spring” regions in the north-east of the country, bringing the number of infections to 235, 88 recoveries and two deaths, after 3,874 analyzes were conducted.

The Idlib Health Directorate had warned against entering the northwestern region of Syria with a new wave of Coronavirus infections, after the recent escalation in the number of infections in many areas.
