Days after their threat .. an arson attack devours a camp for Syrian refugees in Lebanon
A huge fire broke out in the Syrian refugee camps located in the city of Sidon in southern Lebanon, which is located at the entrance to the city.
Activists on social media circulated a video clip showing a huge fire breaking out in a large Syrian refugee camp located at the entrance to the city of Sidon, in the southern Bekaa.
“After threatening to leave a few days ago … a big fire broke out in a Syrian refugee camp near Sidon, in southern Lebanon,” the dissident Brigadier General Omar Al-Asfar said in a tweet on his account on the Twitter platform.
He added that a few days ago, a group of people called on the camp’s residents to leave, and the dissident colonel criticized the United Nations for its silence and condoning these heinous crimes against the Syrian refugees.
It should be noted that this afflicted camp is located in an area affiliated with the Shiite community run by the Amal Movement and Hezbollah.
Moreover, no official party has announced the size of the losses resulting from this huge fire, which is believed to have erupted by an actor.
It is noteworthy that the Syrian refugees are constantly subjected to racist persecution in Lebanon, at the instigation of the “Hezbollah” militia and figures affiliated with the Assad regime.
