Palestinian Health Ministry: The total number of victims of the aggression rose to 181, including 52 children and 31 women
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced, on Sunday morning, that the number of victims of the violent Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip, since Monday evening, has risen to 181 and 1,225 injuries.
In a statement, the ministry stated that the number of victims of the ongoing aggression on Gaza rose to “181 victims, including 52 children and 31 women.”
The ministry stated that the number of injuries also rose to 1,225, without details about the nature of the injuries.
It explained that the number of victims and wounded is likely to increase, as the competent teams are still conducting searches for missing people under the rubble of destroyed homes.
The Israeli violations in the city of Jerusalem, and the attempts to establish full sovereignty over it, caused the transfer of tension to the Gaza Strip, and the outbreak of the current round of fighting, which began last Monday evening.
Among the most important Israeli violations that caused the current tension is the issuance of Israeli judicial decisions to evacuate 12 Palestinian homes in the “Sheikh Jarrah” neighborhood, which is one of East Jerusalem’s neighborhoods, from its residents and handing them over to the Jewish population.
