Ten new cases with Corona virus in the liberated north of Syria

The epidemiological surveillance laboratory of the Early Warning and Epidemic Response Network (EWARN) program announced the registration of ten new cases of Coronavirus, as the number of infections reached 22,000 and 290 cases, in the liberated areas.

In addition, 18 cases of cure were recorded, which raises the number of cured cases to 20 thousand 371 cases, and the death toll remained at 655 deaths, with no new cases recorded.

The surveillance informant confirmed that the number of cases tested yesterday, Sunday, is 203, bringing the total number of cases tested until yesterday to 127,000 and 581 tests in northern Syria.

While the network recorded five new cases in the liberated “Peace Spring” areas in the north-east of the country, bringing the number of cases there to 618, 191 recovering cases and 9 deaths, after 5,760 analyzes were conducted.

The vaccination campaign against the Corona virus continues, in Idlib Governorate, northwestern Syria, to vaccinate medical personnel working in it, civil defense volunteers and humanitarian workers, under the supervision of the Syria Vaccine Team.
