Response coordinators call on humanitarian organizations to provide drinking water to camps in northern Syria
Today, Monday, the Syria Response Coordinators team appealed to humanitarian organizations to provide drinking water to the displaced persons camps in the liberated north of Syria.
In a statement, the team said that more than 200 camps have no safe drinking water so far, indicating that the displaced depend on water from unhealthy or deep sources.
The team called on humanitarian organizations operating in northern Syria to work to secure safe drinking water for the displaced, to prevent the spread of diseases and epidemics within the camps.
The team published photos showing the conditions of the displaced Syrians in the camps spread in northern Syria, in conjunction with the high temperatures and the interruption of water support in many camps for several months.
