78 new cases of Coronavirus were recorded in northern Syria
Yesterday, Saturday, the Aid Coordination Unit’s Early Warning and Epidemic Response Network announced that 78 new cases of Coronavirus have been recorded in northwestern Syria.
The network stated that 56 new cases of infection were recorded in the countryside of Aleppo and 22 in Idlib governorate, noting that the total number of infections in northwestern Syria rose to 23,326 infections.
The warning network added that it had conducted 433 new analyzes, bringing the total of analyzes in the governorates of Idlib and Aleppo to 135,878 analyzes, indicating that 8 cases of recovery from the virus were recorded, bringing the total of recovery cases to 20,618 cases.
The network indicated, through its official identifiers, that among the infections, there are 13 cases of displaced persons in the camps, and one case of health sector workers.
The Early Warning and Epidemic Response Network of the Support Coordination Unit did not announce the registration of new infections or deaths with the Coronavirus, yesterday, Saturday, in the area of Operation Peace Spring, controlled by the Turkish and Syrian national armies, in the countryside of Raqqa and Hasaka.
The total number of infections in the area of Operation Peace Spring reached 1,230, of which 14 died, while the total number of recoveries reached 191 cases.
The Syria Vaccine Team, as part of the “Covid-19” vaccination campaign, revealed the continued vaccination of health personnel, civil defense personnel and workers of humanitarian organizations.
